“I can interact with the members of my family in a constant state of dependence and prayer, asking God to work in me and through me, and resting in the fact that He will accomplish His will in spite of me.”
~Pam Forster at Doorposts, What Would I Do Differently, Part 1
( I am finding such rich, encouraging quotes at Valerie’s inspiring blog Quotes For a Mother’s Heart . I also recommend Doorpost’s Bible-based parenting and character training materials!)

Welcome!
No matter where you are in life’s journey as a woman, wife, or mother, it is my desire and goal to build up hearts and homes to the glory of God and that you will be encouraged in your high calling as a daughter to the King.
How have you built up your home this week? If it was through teaching your children, gardening, putting up food, learning about pregnancy or parenting, cooking, crafting, keeping your home, loving your husband, or something else the Lord has been showing you? Please come and encourage other Proverbs 31 women by linking up this week. Share as many posts as you would like!
- Enter the direct link to your post into the Linky Tool below.
- A link back to Deep Roots At Home is not necessary but certainly appreciated!
- Enjoy the learning and community!
I do ask that you find someone who has not gotten a comment and leave them a blessing!

Since this link-up is centered around encouragement, it would be wonderful if the recipes that are linked-up are healthy. Something that is not only delicious but also nutritious to the body, an encouragement to living a healthier life. So, I’m requesting that you be mindful of the recipes that you link up. Are these recipes going to make stronger minds and bodies? Examples of welcomed ingredients would include: honey instead of white sugar; healthy oils such as coconut and olive oils; broth-based recipes; additive-free ingredients. Gluten-free, raw food combinations, and soaked are all very much desired.

What a beautiful and uplifting quote! Something to ponder! Might need to write this one down!
Thanks for sharing it!
Blessings to you tonight! Hope all is well and that you are having a peaceful week! Please stop by and join my Homemaking Linkup if you’ve not already.
Mrs. Sarah Coller
Thanks for hosting!
You have a very beautiful blog and I enjoy it very much.
I’m sharing some tips on how to dye Easter eggs naturally and a preparedness post. The preparedness post is to educate people to take charge of their own health, and I share some natural alternatives to the most commonly prescribed drugs in our country today. It is a series and just finished part 3 earlier today.
Have a great week!
Thank you for sharing here at Deep Roots, Jo! I hope to visit you soon

Jacqueline, thank you so much for the uplifting comment. I really needed it today because this week I *have* been growing weary. My husband is leaving on a mission trip overseas tomorrow and the pressure has been a bit overwhelming in many areas, including my weak spot, children bickering. I am choosing each day to abide in His strength and grace and hopefully extend that to my kids. Ironically (or divinely!), last week I put labeled tabs on my Doorposts book For Instructions In Righteousness, and now I need it! Your prayers are much appreciated.
Also, I just love your sweet suggestion that linking up readers find a post with no comments and leave an encouraging note. How thoughtful! I appreciate comments now more than ever.
