My Picks Of The Week/ ‘EOA’ Link-Up #49

Jesse Wilcox Smith~ On His Knee Welcome to the 49th edition of our weekly homemaking link-up party: ‘Encourage One Another’! Each Wednesday, you’re warmly invited to link up anything you have posted related to homemaking and mingle with others who’ve done the same.

Thank you, everyone, for all you do to make this a growing community of like-minded friends. I am so genuinely thankful and inspired as I read over all the link-ups from week to week!

How have you grown your roots deeper at home this week? What do you have to share with another Proverbs 31 woman today?

  1. ~Please enter the direct link of your post into the Linky Tool below.
  2. ~ Linking back to Deep Roots At Home is appreciated but is not necessary.
  3. ~I hope you enjoy the great reading and fellowship!
  4. ~Check back next week to discover who’s been featured and to link-up again!

I’ve been thinking lately that as this link-up is centered around encouragement, that it would be so wonderful if the recipes that are linked-up are healthy. Something that is not only delicious but also nutrious to the body, an encouragement to living a healthier life. So, I’m requesting that you be mindful of the recipes that you link up. Are these recipes going to make stronger minds and bodies? Examples of welcomed ingredients would include: honey instead of white sugar; healthy oils such as coconut and olive oils; broth-based recipes; additive-free ingredients. Gluten-free, raw food combinations, and soaked are all very much desired.

  8. Hello! I’m so happy to have found you through Ruth at gracelaced.com. As she said, you are such a refreshing face of Titus 2. I’m already enjoying the tips and encouragement you give.

My name is Michelle and I blog at The Willing Cook. My purpose in blogging is to serve those who suffer from food allergies and try to do so on a tight budget, although I sometimes expand beyond food allergies. I hope that I am a good steward of the space with which I have been blessed.

I linked up a few things today that I thought might fit in nicely here. (I don’t normally link up that many.) I hope that they are a nice addition and encouragement to your readers.

    Thank you for hosting!

    Jacqueline,
I am honored to see our post from frontline moms.com on your chosen board. I love how you help us link up for better mothering and homemaking. Since I primarily write on the “sticky subjects” of mothering today’s kids, I really appreciate the rich variety on your links! Blessings to you and your family. Lisa

Linked up what my overflowing heart leaked last night before bed.

Sorry I have been so absent, getting a schedule and free (blog) time has been hard over the summer. I keep thinking things will be normal soon, but I have come to the conclusion that things will never be normal.

Oh, Sara, don’t give up, dear friend! I have been praying for you during this time and will not stop! I can’t wait to read your story. Love you in the Lord.

  16. Thank you so much for the feature! Jackjack and I have been cooking buddies for several years now and now Little Peanut (the baby) is watching us cook and keeping us company in the kitchen. She will be my cooking buddy when he’s older!
